Sybil can look at a game that is still being played — who is in it, what they picked, and whether any of them have played it before. It needs one thing from you: the ID of the server you are on.
Finding the ID
- 1. Turn the console on, if it is not already. Dota → Settings → Hotkeys → Advanced Hotkeys → tick Enable Developer Console, and note the key it is bound to.
- 2. Once you are in the game — the draft is early enough — open the console and type
status. - 3. Look for the line naming the server's Steam ID. Copy the number and paste it above.
The ID is only good while that match is running — Valve stops answering for it once the game ends. After that the match shows up under your profile's history like any other.
What you get
All ten account IDs, the heroes as they are locked in, and for each player the positions they have actually been playing lately plus their adjusted win rate on the hero in front of them. The same game advantage the match pages show, only before the game is decided rather than after.
The advantage figure reads the players and the heroes they are on — not the lane matchups or the composition, which is why it is not called a draft rating. How much it is worth as a prediction is an open question; the method page is straight about that. The parts underneath it — who has never played this hero, who usually plays a different position — are plain facts either way.
